SENSEMUSE is a EU-funded project in adult education, implemented by partners from Italy, Greece, Germany and Romania, building shared capacity for accessible culture. During 12 months we invite you to take part at our training and support our mission:

SENSEMUSE helps museum professionals turn inclusion into action—creating cultural experiences where people with disabilities can participate, connect and belong.

Vision

Sense Muse enhances the role of museums as learning hubs by creating upskilling pathways for cultural professionals. Through a structured learning network and transnational knowledge exchange, we equip museums with the competences to promote lifelong learning, making cultural institutions more accessible, inclusive and responsive.

Target groups

• Directors and managers seeking cost-effective ways to improve interpretation and engagement;
• Curators and exhibition designers looking to create emotionally and intellectually engaging storytelling around collections;
• Adults involved in cultural communication, who want to make heritage interpretation more accessible and compelling
• Museum docents, staff delivering guided tours and wanting to improve their storytelling and engagement techniques, staff looking to integrate digital tools like CANVA, MIRO, and FIGMA into museum interpretation with minimal investment;
• Accessibility experts, adults interested in using technology to enhance accessibility and audience engagement.

Why funding matters

Approximately 85 million people in the EU live with a disability. Yet structured accessibility programs in small museums remain rare — fragmented, locally bound, and rarely shared across borders. Sense Muse replaces isolated effort with a common European framework that is coherent, scalable and adaptable: a model museums across the EU can adopt.
